IC443, also called Jellyfish Nebula, is a galactic supernova remnant in the constellation of Gemini. It is suspected that the supernova occurred between 3000 and 30’000 years ago.

Distance to earth: 5’000 lightyears
Apparent size: each approx 60 arcminutes (2 x the moon)
